I found her! I was on Find a Grave.com and threw the bone out of her name, and bingo! I about fell over!

Mrs. William M. (Modjeska) Evenson, 67, of Rte 1, Weston, died Tuesday in a Pendleton hospital.

Mrs. Evenson lived in Walla Walla for 23 years before the family moved to a farm near Weston in 1943, where she has lived since that time. She was born May 14, 1886, in Ohio.

Survivors include her husband, William M. Evenson; 2 daughters, Mrs. harry (Carol) Jefferis of walla Walla and Mrs. B. L. (Ruth) Lockwood of tacoma; her mother, Mrs. Frank Nechlin of Springfield, OH and two brothers and one sister. Harry & Charles Nichlin and Mrs. Addie Starrit, of Springfield. Mrs. Evenson was a member of the College Place Seventh-day Adventist Church where the funeral will be held Friday with Elder Robert Dunton officiating.
